Ehhh... I dont really like it. Maybe the car would have looked better if it were 3D CG instead. And something still seems missing...
My only problem with this picture is the orange. I wish there was an orange lying around for me to scan.

Well, not that old. I made it in 2005 which is old enough. The computer also kept crashing because it didn't have enough RAM. Though I should upload it before it was lost again.
The entire picture was rendered in 3D with no phtoshop work involved. And yes, its definitely copying nemo.

I really need to post more stuff... Even if its stuff like this. This is a 3D remake of this piece of brilliance. I didn't put much detail into it mostly because it wasn't supposed to be a super high def render, and also because I made this on a Pentium4 with a geforce2 card. Oh, and I also forgot the mascara.

Really do wish I posted more on this blog... Defibrillation may be necessary. A pace maker may help as well.
Anyway, new picture. Based off a picture I came across somewhere. I drew it as a coloring test, trying to find what method I like most. All drawn in sai pant tools, except for a small parts done in photoshop.
Thought I would finish this sooner, but it took longer than expected. I still don't know if it looks right. And yeah, I used reference. Some might recognize it.
CS5.... Reading about it was a lot more exciting than the launch presentation. The "presentators" were just a little too excited over every little thing. ("Presenters" is probably the correct word.) Soon you'll hear things like... "The new CS5 has a 'Create Coffee' command which immediately orders a coffee from the nearest coffee house. This new feature includes the 'User Content Awareness' technology that will order tailor made coffee to suit the users preference and needs. " Or, "We succeeded in also making the 'Make Better' button. This utilizes the 'Quantum Improbability Drive Algorithm' that not only makes you pictures better, it automatically updates you software internally for never seen features and system optimizations." I wish something like that existed though....
No, the CS5 suit looks great, its just the people in the presentation made it look like a god. It was kind of funny actually.
Anyway, I'll be posting a new picture soon. Hope it turns out okay..
Finally got a replacement monitor because the old one had a nice yellow line through it (As you can see in the photo). Though still usable, it was at times somewhat bothersome. Still feels like too much screen space, like being in a large onsen all by yourself and all for yourself.
Mom came and took this picture. Probably because she thought it was funny, needed something to write about on her blog, or to photograph my artistically cluttered desk. I'm not sure for what reason.
Its also nice because it saves me from having to constantly alt-tabbing and moving tool bars and pallets. Or not needing to keep looking for what window chats coming in from.
Anyway, back to drawing...

Another picture that took a long time to finish. And I need more practice... Lines done in SAI, the rest was done in photoshop. Maybe it would have been better if it was all done in SAI.

Don't even think of breaking into the house where she works... A house keeper and guard combined? I'm actually not sure what it is.
All the lines were hand drawn, which made it take forever. Vector lines just look a little too clean and unnatural sometimes. Its probably the last picture my old pen tablet had a part in.
Oh yeah, thanks Mark for helping me get the new tablet.
This image took about a day to render. Making the scene was fairly simple. Most of the effort was put into getting the setup right. I dont think the metal area looks too good though. Needs to be scratched and more rough, but I think the rest looks okay.
And this one never really finished. Took 60 hours but still has too much noise. Maybe it was because of the complex light emitter or the reversed normals on the bulbs.

This was a bone rig test for this character that ended up into a wallpaper. Its is based on the "retro cool girl", so she was supposed to be a little expressionless. 27 minute render time.

Yup. I believed that kingdom park existed. The blue and white people. The red and green guys. But I couldn't go there for some reason.
Yes, some Eva fan might point out the logo as a imitation, and yes it is.

Theres a game I saw recently called audio surf. Its basically a game where you collect colored boxes to gain points. There are a few variations though, like lining 3 of the same colors in a row, or make color clusters to get points.
The interesting thing about it is that the course is created by the music you give it. Depending on the tempo and beats, you get climbs or drops. Its strange, but the graphics do look rather spiffy though.
There was demo version on their website.

Okay, real first post this time...
This picture is like one of my first 2D CG drawings. It was actually finished right around when this blog was made. I dont know why I didnt post it then. Maybe its because I was drinking chocolate milk... (I wasnt.) A picture is said to be worth a thousand words, so I believe no explanation is necessary.
I hope to post a more often.
